Name: Nick Roberts Graduation year: 2019 Major: Computer Science Interests: Within computer science, I'm interested in the design of programming languages that make it hard to write bugs and easy to get things done. Outside, I'm interested in performing and recording music (especially piano!), learning Spanish and linguistics in general, and education. Project areas: I would love to work on a project in the intersection of music and technology. A bunch of striking mathematical visualizations can be applied to sound recordings. My ideal project would marry the composition and recording of musical ideas with the visualization of these ideas as computer graphics. Fun fact: Unbeknownst to me, I worked for Guy Fieri's uncle for 3 years.

Name: Qianou Ma (Christina) Graduation year: 2022 Major: Undecided but maybe cognitive science Interests: A better question would be if there’s something I have no interest in. Frankly speaking I have interest in every field of study, but to name a few, EduTech in academic terms, and figure skating and chorus for 'out of school' interests. Project areas: Innovative Kitchen! I love cuisine and cooking . Any project related to AI would also be fine. Fun fact: Qianou means 'A thousand seagulls' in Chinese. Welcome to ask me why I was named this way. :-)

Name: Jonathan Huang Graduation year: 2022 Major: Economics (Possibly Econ/Stats) Interests: Regarding Economics, I enjoy thinking about both micro and macro concepts and how they relate to the decisions we make everyday as consumer and what kind of impact these decisions could have on the broader community. I like understanding how an essential part of the world functions and how we can have huge changes to the society we reside in. Outside of the academic scene, I like reading, although I haven't had quite enough time these past few years but I would love to discover new books. Project areas: It would be amazing for me to work on a project that tries to improve a part of our everyday life because I am fascinated by the little gadgets that I see in stores that I never knew I needed and I think I would be very interested in knowing how feasible these products actually are and what kind of process is required to come up with one. But I think I would enjoy working on any sort of project because I would like to learn more about different areas of study. Fun fact: There was a student in my high school who had the same first and last name as me, so we differentiated by middle initial. Mine was K, so people started using that and calling me JK (just kidding) or even JKH (just kidding, haha). Also, I really enjoy listening to 1920's, 30s vocal jazz.

Name: Tyler Sikov Graduation year: 2021 Major : Computer Science Interests: Within computer science I love to make websites, apps, but most of all I like to code fun projects. Outside of CS I like to play and sing music, play video games, write and perform satire, and spend time with my cats. Name: Dylan Vanmali Major(s): Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technology Ventures Graduating year: Masters, Graduating 2020 Interests: In Computer Engineering, I have fallen in love with Computer Graphics. The idea of bringing imaginary things to life interests me every day. Just think about it, the process to convert tiny electrons in a processor and converting those into images, astonishes me to this day. Outside school, I love music, especially singing and learning guitar. If you ever want to have a karaoke session, I am more than down. My interest also involves traveling, I have already seen many places around the world, but right now it is my time to explore the East Coast. Project areas: My dream project with Project Ignite is to work on display technology. I love visualizing things, so anything with LEDs, lasers, projectors, displays, and VR/AR drives passion. Motto: Never let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams! You control your own destiny!
