Who are the Project Advisors?
Our Project Advisors are Carnegie Mellon students who have a passion for their work and who are excited to inspire students in the Pittsburgh community. They have a wide range of specific skills gained through their own project based work at CMU. They are a wonderful and enthusiastic group of people who can't wait to get to work with you! .

Interests: I am most interested in sustainable chemistry and environmental/health policy! I love to learn about philosophy and math as well. Outside of school, I love to play soccer, play video games (Valorant and Minecraft), and play piano. I like to think that I’m pretty good at ping pong.

Interests: In my course of study, conducting research has been really interesting to me ever since I decided that being in the STEM field was what I wanted to do following high school. Modeling situations that are difficult to directly observe has also been something I’m interested in, which is why I would like to minor in comp. bio. Outside of college, I love the outdoors, and I love going hiking.
Fun Fact: I’m interested in pursuing and learning how to do graphic design as it’s something I enjoy doing casually.

Major: Material Science and Engineering/Biomedical Engineering Double Major
interests: 'm interested in biomaterials, particularly hydrogels being used as modes for drug delivery. Most of the stuff go way over my head, but it's sci-fi enough for me keep pursuing it in the name of fiction. But outside of school, I enjoy making clothes and photography!
Project Interests: Probably a collapsible closet that folded up like a suitcase with all the clothes inside.
Fun Fact: I have a year long streak in German on Duolingo

Major: Mechanical Engineering and Additive Manufacturing Minor
Interests: I enjoy 3D printing different little toys and gadgets, and I am primarily enjoy the designing aspect of mechanical engineering. At my last internship, I held an additive manufacturing position at an aerospace company designing different aerospace tooling components. In my free time, I like to rock climb and watch anime.
Project Interest: A project we can all utilize our knowledge to design a good mechanical system or product backed up with statistical data

Interests: I love working with anything software, or when software begins to meet hardware. Outside of academics and professional life, I'm interested in Japanese Pop Culture, Building PCs, and figuring out new ways to cook eggs!
Project Interests: Helping inspire people to the field of computing, especially if its people from minority groups in the space, is what made me want to join Project Ignite. So, anything related to that! Teaching young people to code and make cool projects like games or animations is what I think is a "dream project" to me.

Major: Electrical and Computer Engineering
Interests: As an ECEr, i am interested in both the software and hardware. Outside of school, I love cooking so much and definitely eating. I am also into jazz, and kpop (since this year).
Project Interest: I am excited to build the maze-solver robot with you!
Fun Fact: I ate 4 packs of chips a day during one of the midterm weeks.
